The law firm was started in 1979 by PAULO QUEZADO, in the Palácio Progresso building. First it used to work in the criminal, civil and commercial law areas. During the first years it expanded as other lawyers and trainees joined.

Some years later it started to work in municipal, electoral and administrative law areas. Paulo Quezado?s law firm operated from Palacio Progresso until February 1998. On March of that year it moved to its current building at Engenheiro Luís Vieira Avenue, 320 ? Praia do Futuro.

On April 2000 the social contract of Advocacia Paulo Quezado S/C was registered in OAB-CE (Brazil?s Order of Advocates). Paulo Napoleão Gonçalves Quezado and Viviane Maria Diogo Diógenes Quezado were its partners.
